Send your child to a unique summer camp at the Bar-L Ranch. Our ranch is surrounded by a herd of horses in a variety of sizes to meet every child's needs. Our camp offers a number of unique features including our hilly timberland pastures. Every camper is assigned their own horse to ride, feed, and take care of during their stay.

Lessons Include

The beginners are taught the basics of grooming, bridling, saddling, mounting, and guiding a horse, as well as learning how to manage their horse in a walk, trot, or canter. We also address the time, work, and responsibilities required to own a horse and give each wrangler an idea of the cost. An average of at least 4 hours a day are spent with horses. Riding helmets, provided by Bar-L Ranch, are required to be worn by each camper.
